Jasper Conran launches at Boots Opticians By Tomo Kembery
British designer Jasper Conran OBE has launched a new collection of eyewear. With 24 designs, encompassing men’s and women’s styles, the range is available exclusively at Boots Opticians.
Reflecting Jasper Conran’s timeless contemporary aesthetic the collection features a palette of neutrals accented with rich tones. Bevelled edges give a tactile finish to softly curved acetates whilst metal styles boast a sleek modern profile. Subtle branding and refined metal details add the finishing touch.
Dark blue and grey hues for men sit back with horn frames and brushed pewter. The women’s collection features softer shapes, tortoise shell, brushed copper and warm plum and crimson tones.

he men’s collection features model. This heritage style has a contrasting metal nose bridge and a rich, speckled horn acetate. A modern take on a classic style, this model is finished with a subtle lasered logo and branded metallic plaque on each tip.
A highlight from the ladies collection is cat eye frame This dramatic and feminine front shape is complemented by the striking plum acetate. The sculpted temples are finished with simple metal detailing.
The polished metal detailing on the temple adds some edge to an elegant look.
Jasper Conran, OBE, is a British designer. Having trained at Parson’s School of Design in New York, Jasper Conran produced his first womenswear collection in 1978 and was a founding member of the London Designer Collections – subsequently renamed London Fashion Week – where he continues to show today.
Jasper Conran has diversified from womenswear into menswear, fragrance, accessories, luggage, collections for the home, interiors and the performing arts. In 2008 Jasper Conran received an OBE for his Services to Retail.
